What is a Juggernaut Ward?

A juggernaut Ward refers to a Juggernaut Clan applicant who is still in a probationary period of acceptance. There are usually  two types of wards: Apprentice and Squire. An apprentice is a member who specializes mainly in non-combat skills while the squire specializes in combat skills.

Applying as a Juggernaut Ward

Please, keep in mind that to apply as a Juggernaut ward, we do ask that you are an adult-as this is an adult oriented clan, that you enjoy Role Playing Games, and that you have played Runescape for some time. To further ensure the latter, we ask that you have at least a level of 40 in each Runscape skill.

Thereafter, applying is simply a matter of clicking on the appropriate link....

...then entering your Runescape name and selecting a preferred style of ward: Apprentice or Squire

Be patient and open to the approach of Juggernaut Clan members because you will require three (3) votes of approval (verifications) to become eligible for becoming a ward. Once you have three verifications, a clan member who is also a Juggernaut Knight, Juggernaut Silver Knight, Juggernaut Expert Craftsmen, Juggernaut Master Craftsmen, or even the Juggernaut King will then take you on as their ward.

Being a ward will require you to play conscientiously alongside your sponsor. He or she will be looking out for your needs, as well, but you must be willing to make sure your Juggernaut Knight/Silver Knight or Juggernaut Expert Craftsman/Master Craftsman's needs are also handled. In return, your sponsor will be preparing you for becoming a self-sufficient warrior or craftsmen within the clan. He or she will also help you become involved in events that will increase your skills where they are needed. Because you will be the only apprentice or squire (they can only sponsor one of each at a time) your sponsor is working with, he or she will be able to dedicate quality time with you. Participating in events with other clan members help propel you through the Runescape skill levels, quests, and teaches you more about the game than you probably anticipated ever learning!

Verifying an Applying Ward

Verifying a ward is also a simple process. Help the clan and your friends who are looking to either get into the clan or who need more wards to sponsor by suggesting they apply. If you know someone is a good player, an adult, and fun to be around, then verify him or her. Also, let your friends of the same quality know about the Juggernaut Clan site. Just recall, they must be adults.

To verify a prospective ward, you must be a Juggernaut Knight, Juggernaut Silver Knight, Juggernaut Expert Craftsman, Juggernaut Master Craftsman, or above in rank. Also, you may not verify the same ward more than once.

Select the appropriate link...

...then enter your name and password then select the applying ward's name. That's all there is to verifying a ward!

Sponsoring a Ward

Sponsoring a ward should be taken seriously. The responsibility should be taken to heart. You are agreeing to help someone rise through the ranks of the clan to become a knight or expert craftsman. They will be required to spend time with you. As a ward, they are required to spend three hours of their time, each week, on Runescape, helping you, learning from you, in the skill that they are trying to base their warrior or craftsman rank in.

For example, if they are trying to become a melee warrior, your ward must spend three hours a week with you. Your ward can fight alongside you, but if you need food, or potions, you should send this ward to the bank to get the supplies for you. Of course, you must first supply the ward with enough stock to supply you, later.

Likewise, if your ward is wanting to become a herbore craftsmen, then he or she could be sent to collect secondary items for you such as newts' eyes, snape grass, etc as long as the ward is not required to spend money or items out of his or her inventory to get those things for you. You can also have the ward pre-mix partial potions for you, if you wish.

In return, it is important that you, as the sponsor, make certain your ward is included in events to help his or her Juggernaut Participation skills and Runescape skills increase to the point where  they can become a self-sufficient warrior or craftsman. Furthermore, once your ward advances, you, as the sponsor, will receive 50,000 Juggernaut Diplomacy Experience Points. Incidentally, when you take on a ward, you will also receive 10,000 Juggernaut Diplomacy Experience Points for doing so.

To sponsor your ward, select the appropriate link....

...Then, select your name from the drop down box and enter your password. Next, select the ward's name and select whether the ward wishes to be a Squire or an Apprentice. This can have changed since the time the player applied for membership.

And, that's it. You two are on your way and the Juggernaut Clan has a new member! Take care of your ward as that is a Juggernaut Clan member and we care about them!

What is an Event Format

An Event Format is required for any event to be initiated and is what an event is based on. Event Formats determine what the event is, where it occurs, and how much experience is given in which participation skills.

Creating a New Event Format

To create an Event Format, a player must be a minimum of either a Juggernaut Knight or a Juggernaut Expert Craftsman. Select the appropriate link...

...then, select your name, enter your password, select the event type, and enter the name of the Event Format. DO NOT USE PUNCTUATION IN THE NAME OF YOUR EVENT TYPE.

Once you have the event entered, someone must then verify the Event Format so that it is thereafter authorized and may be used as the basis for an event.

Verifying an Event Format

Before an Event Format can be used as an Authorized Event Format, it must be verified by either The Juggernaut King or the Juggernaut Chancellor. This is so that all events remain consistent in all aspects in comparison to other events. Verifying an Event Format is very important and is required for the Event Format so that it may be used.

To verify the Event Format, select the appropriate link....

...then select you name, enter your password, and select the appropriate Event Format.

That's all there is to it!

Editing an Event Format

There are times when you will find it necessary to edit your Event Format. To do so, it is imperative that the Event Format has not already been used as a basis for an event, yet. In fact, it is so important that once it has been used as a basis for an event, it may no longer be edited. Only you, the Juggernaut King, or Juggernaut Chancellor can select those event formats you created.

To edit the Event Format, select the appropriate link....

...then select the Event Format.

On the next screen, select your name, enter your password, then make any changes in the Event Format Fields you deem necessary.

DESTROYING  THE EVENT FORMAT: It may be necessary to delete an event format. To do so, simply select the DESTROY EVENT FORMAT button and the Event Format will be deleted.

Where Can I View an Event Format's Usage?

Sometimes, you may wish to know how well an Event Format is being used. You may wish to base another Event Format on it in type, experience, and so on. To view the usage of a given Event Format, select the appropriate link....

...then select the desired Event Format.

After which, the following display will appear:

What is an Event?

Events are the crux of the entire clan organization and Juggernaut Skills. Without events, there is no participation, no promotion, no clan continuity, no purpose to being a clan. An event brings clan members together with a desire to reach the same goal whether it be companionship, experience points, or cash and possessions. Events include such things as combat training, skill training, mini-game excursions, gatherings, and so on. To allow members to obtain Participation experience points, the events must be authorized through the clan. A member of appropriate level must initiate the event and other clan member must verify it.

Entering a New Event

To enter a new Event into the Juggernaut Event directory, you MUST be a Juggernaut King or a Registered Juggernaut Elite Knight, Silver Knight, Knight, Master Craftsman, or Expert Craftsman.

To enter the new event, select the appropriate link...

...then select your name, enter your password, and fill out the accompanying fields. Make sure you select a date and time for the event as well as who is joining you for the event.

You will be able to add or delete new event members up until the time you indicate the event has occurred. An event may have a maximum of 25 people attached to it. One of the event members should be the event verifier, that person who will verify that the event has been posted in the forums and, later, that the event has occurred as indicated. Posting the event in the forums makes certain that people can join the event!

Editing Your Event

Editing an event allows you to add or delete people from the event list, or change the time and date. As long as you make any changes before the event has been verified as having occurred, all changes will take affect.

To edit your event, select the appropriate link...

...then select the event you wish to edit.

On the subsequent page, select your name and enter your password. To edit an existing event, you MUST be a Juggernaut King, Juggernaut Chancellor, or the event's creator. There are no exceptions. Modify any existing data.

DESTROYING  THE EVENT. On occasion, an event will simply not take place as expected for one of numerous reasons. Here is where you may remove the event. Simply select the appropriate button and the event will be deleted.

Verifying an Event

Once entered, your new event must be verified by either the Juggernaut King, Juggernaut  Chancellor, Juggernaut Elite Knight, Silver Knight, Knight, Master Craftsman, or Expert Craftsman. What the verifier is looking for is that the event has, indeed, been posted in the forums and is available for members to join. (Although this is a general rule, it may not always apply, especially in the case of royal decrees and missions)

To  verify an event, select the appropriate link....

...then select your name, enter your password, and select the event your wish to verify.

We want events verified so that events are not initiated without some kind of authorized order. All participation points should be acquired with a sense of pride and accomplishment. This level of verification should help.

REMEMBER, IF YOU ARE VERIFYING THIS EVENT, YOU SHOULD ALSO BE PARTICIPATING IN IT (IF POSSIBLE)! AT THE VERY LEAST YOU MUST APPEAR TO VERIFY THAT THE PARTICIPANTS, AS LISTED, DID PARTICIPATE!

Enter Event Occurrence

Once an event has occurred, the event initiator must now enter that the event has occurred. Once done, the event verifier can follow up and make certain that event data is correct and enter his or her verification so that  all participation points can be distributed among the participants.

To enter the event occurrence, select the appropriate link...

...then select your name, enter your password, and select the event.

That's all there is to it!

Verify Event Occurrence

Now, for the most important part of the post event action: the verification of the event. Once the event has been indicated to have occurred by the event initiator, the verifier must verify that the event went off as indicated with the members indicated. The verifier has the option to either verify or deny the event occurrence. If denied, the event initiator must simply make the corrections so that the verifier will, in fact, verify the event.

To verify the event, select the appropriate link...

...then select your name, enter your password, and select the event.

On the subsequent page, select whether you wish to verify or deny the verification and that is all there is to it.

Change Event Verifier

It can happen that your verifier cannot attend the event, so another verifier is desired. To change verifiers is a simple matter. You can do so. However, you must be either the Juggernaut King, Juggernaut Chancellor, the Event Originator, or the existing Event Verifier to make the change, plus, the event cannot have already occurred.

Select the appropriate link....

...then select your name, enter your password, select which event the change is for, and select the new verifier.

It couldn't be much simpler.

Where Can I View All Open Events?

Hungry to go on an event, but not sure what's available? It's easy enough to simply peruse the Open Event Listing. This will tell you which events have been posted, but have not yet occurred.

Select the link....

And the list will appear!

Now, find an event, go to the forums, and let them know you want to join them!

Where Can I View an Event's Status?

If you need to know the status of an event.... whether it has been posted, has a verifier, occurred, verified as having occurred, or even denied verification, you can find the information here at this link...

Now, just select the event you are trying to find information about.

What is a Commendation?

There are three kinds of commendations: awards, medals, and badges. Awards are given for special or superlative effort in non-combat skills while medals (and ribbons) are the combat counterpart. Badges are for designated positions of importance or noteworthiness. Commendations may be awarded only by the Juggernaut King, Juggernaut Chancellor, or Juggernaut Royalty depending on the commendation

Creating a Commendation

A commendation may only be created by either the Juggernaut King or the Juggernaut Chancellor.

To create a commendation, select the appropriate link...

...then select your name and enter your password. Now, select the commendation type, enter the commendation description (less than 250 characters) in a short phrase (without any punctuation). Select who can award this commendation (King, Chancellor and King, or Royalty).

Now, select the requirement, if there is any, for the commendation and add a date if the requirement is date-based or an event if the commendation is event based. Your commendation has now been created!

Awarding a Commendation

Here, you can award badges, awards, and medals as desired. Commendations may be awarded for various reasons. Each commendation has its description. You may only select one badge, award, or medal to award at a time. Only Royalty may award commendations, and some commendations may only be awarded by the Chancellor or King, or only the King to award them.

To award a commendation, select the appropriate link...

Now, select your name, enter your password, select either a badge, award, or, a medal. Then, select up to 25 recipients of the commendation. Now, select either the 'Badge,' 'Award,' or 'Medal,' button.

Your commendations have now been awarded!

What is a Promotion?

Promotions? Of course. You do not want to remain a squire or an apprentice forever! As your Runescape skills and Juggernaut skills increase, you will have the opportunity to rise through the Juggernaut Clan ranks. You must be entered as a promotion prospect by your sponsor and verified by another Juggernaut member of royalty status.

Once up for promotion, the Juggernaut King or Juggernaut Chancellor may then promote you which may done in an accompanying ceremony.

Entering A Promotion Prospect

To enter a promotion prospect, the prospect must be your ward. In addition, the ward must have met the minimum requirements for each rank, have served service time for the clan, and done three clan quests as well a King's quest.

Select the appropriate link....

...then select your name, enter your password.

On the subsequent page...

...select your prospect and the rank you would like your prospect promoted to. Your ward is now a promotion prospect awaiting three verifications and promotion!

Verifying a Promotion Prospect

Before a promotion prospect can actually be promoted, one or more members of the Juggernaut royalty (Juggernaut Knights, Juggernaut Silver Knights, Juggernaut  Elite Knights, Juggernaut Expert Craftsmen, Juggernaut Master Craftsmen, and all ranks equivalent and higher), must verify that the promotion prospect has performed all tasks as per the requirements for the rank: served service time for the clan, and done three clan quests as well a King's quest.

In addition, the prospect must attain three votes of confidence from three members of the Juggernaut Royalty, none of whom are his sponsor.

To verify a promotion prospect, first select the appropriate link....

...then select your name and enter your password.

On the subsequent page, select the promotion prospect.

Now, on the last page, select those aspects you can verify.

VOTE OF CONTRADICTION: If you do not believe someone should be promoted, you have the option to state your opinion. You also have the right, given your rank, to voice your concerns and they will be heard. It is up to us, the Juggernaut Clan members, to make certain that the clan remains strong. Doing so requires that all of us work together to keep the membership filled with those who have honor and integrity and deserve the right to belong or clan.

Votes of Contradiction are on the same page as the rest of the verification aspects. You may only offer one Vote of Contradiction at a time and you may remove a Vote of Contradiction, later.

Removing a Vote of Contradiction

Once a Vote of Contradiction has been handled, it will often need to be removed. Only the person who entered the Vote of Contradiction, the Juggernaut Chancellor or the Juggernaut King may remove a Vote of Contradiction.

To remove a Vote of Contradiction, first select the appropriate link...

...then, select your name and enter your password.

Then select the promotion prospect to remove the Vote of Contradiction from.

Under normal circumstances, you will then be offered the opportunity to select the prospect's name, however, if your rank is sufficiently high enough, you will have the option to Waive all Votes of Contradiction, remove a Vote of Contradiction by Proxy for someone else, or remove a Vote of Contradiction for your self.

Afterwards, the option to select the prospect's name will appear followed by the option to select which member you will proxy for.

That's all there is to removing a Vote of Contradiction.

How Do I Award a Promotion?

Promotions are easily awarded. Select the appropriate link....

...then, select your name and enter your password.

If there are no promotion prospects, you will receive a message to that effect.

In addition, you may remove a member from promotion for whatever reason, but actually promoting the group of people ready for promotion is now as simple as clicking the appropriate button!

What is Banishment?

Abusing the rules of Runescape or those of the Juggernaut clan, or abusing or being disrespectful to other Juggernaut Members can get you banished or 'banned.' We will not take banishment lightly, so 'unbanishment' is also not likely, though it can happen only for very unusual circumstances.

Only the Juggernaut Chancellor and Juggernaut King may banish or unbanish someone. To do so, select the appropriate link...

...then select your name and enter your password.

Now, enter either someone to banish or someone to unbanish and select the corresponding submission button: 'Banish" or 'Unbanish.'

That's it

What Are Participation Skills (PS)?

Just as Runescape has various skills, The Juggernaut Clan provides other skills, all of which are based on participating in the clan whether it be by participating in events, writing up tutorials and directory entries, or by working with wards. The participation skills run from level 0 to level 99 and are based on acquired experience points.

Juggernaut Ranks are based on Participation Skill experience points as well as your Runescape Skill experience points, so it is important to raise both sets of experience.

How Do I Get PS XP?

The short answer: Participate.

Participating in Juggernaut events will help you acquire Juggernaut Participation Skill Experience Points (PS XP). Going on excursions, training sessions, even gatherings, will gain PS XP for you. Just sign up in the forums and become involved. You gain your normal Runescape Experience points as per normal and, by participating in the clan event, you gain additional PS XP.

Writing up articles for the site will gain you Scribe PS XP. Sponsoring wards through the ranks allow you to acquire additional Diplomacy PS XP. Going on special quests for the Juggernaut King will gain Quest PS XP for you.

What Are the Different Juggernaut Ranks?

Some Ranks are honorary, some appointed, and some are based on level, hard work, and deeds. A player typically begins as either a squire or an apprentice. Squires rise to warriors, Knights, Silver Knights, then Elite Knights whereas apprentices take the path up through craftsman, Expert Craftsmen, Master Craftsmen, and Elite Knights.

The ranks of Duke down through Baron are reserved for later use and are honorary and ranks of command.

There are other ranks reserved for special use as deemed necessary by the Juggernaut Clan Royalty.

How To Be Promoted to a Rank

Promotion requires minimums in Runescape Skill Levels, Juggernaut Participation Skill Levels, service time, existing rank, and quests as requested by Juggernaut Royalty and the Juggernaut Monarch. All specific requirements can be found within the pages of the Juggernaut Forums accessible by Juggernaut Members.

In addition, as a member, your sponsor must submit you as a promotion prospect and three other members of  Juggernaut Royalty must offer up a vote of confidence for your promotion.

How Important Are the Juggernaut Forums To Me as a Clan Member?

Very.

It is within the forums that you will be able to become involved with other clan members, gain the respect of fellow clan members by associating with them, and learn all about the clan itself, its activities, expectations, etc. It is in the forums where you will request and be accepted into events. It is here you will be asked to perform quests and missions for the Juggernaut Clan and Juggernaut Royalty.

By participating with one another, we help each other become better players and rise through the Runescape and Juggernaut levels and ranks. We offer one another companionship when going on events together, making the entire Runescape experience so much more enjoyable than when experienced alone.

The forums are extensive and offer a great opportunity for any Runescape player to excel in the game, but more importantly, to have a better and more intense game experience.

Do you offer Cheats for Runescape?

I do not know how much clearer we can make this. We don't cheat. We have honor and integrity. We will uphold the Jagex rules and we do not condone any transgressions. If you're going to cheat, what's the point? Don't bother playing Runescape and certainly don't bother applying for a Juggernaut Clan membership. As Juggernaut Clan King, I have zero tolerance for cheating and Banishment is only a few mouseclicks away!
